Indications : Ointment : Boils, furunculosis, impetigo, sycosis barbae, otitis externa, paronychia, burns, ulcers, tinea infestations, cutaneous candidiasis. Solution : Herpes, topical treatment of moniliasis, trichomoniasis. Powder: Exudative wounds, postsurgical dressing, episiotomy. Preoperative preparation of the skin and mucous membranes of mouth and vagina. Preoperative and postoperative scrubbing and washing of hands and disinfection of operative site. Topical treatment of moniliasis. Trichomoniasis, nonspecific vaginitis. Preoperative preparations of vagina.

Metronidazole

Class : Nitromidazole antiamebic.

Indications : Bacterial infection, Clostridium difficile, H. pylori associated with peptic ulcer disease.
